The students of the University have taken law to the community and brought the community closer to law. This has been facilitated by various field studies, empirical and clinical studies and film making. The students have made documentary films on socially relevant issues highlighting socio-legal aspects of the problem. Agroup members accomplished their first year major feat by making a documentary on Bhopal Gas Disaster titled “Dream to Disaster & Aftermath”. The documentary was screened on the evening of 2nd December during the Bar Council of India trust Moot Court Competition. It was then presented to the delegation during the valedictory session of the competition on the 22nd anniversary of the tragedy. A group of students is currently shooting a film on drug trafficking and the law on the Indo-Nepal border.
