He was working as Project Assistant, Chair in IPR, Department of Legal Studies, University of Madras. He was a resource person to Institute of Distance Education, University of Madras. He has taught at the Institute of Company Secretaries Institute, Chennai. He was awarded Gold Medal for standing first in merit at the LL.M. examination. He has received various academic honours namely, the L.C. Miller Medal (Gold Medal), the Dr. A.L. Mudaliar Prizes and Justice M.N. Rao Prize etc. He was awarded University Research Fellowship, the Samburarayar Endowment Scholarship, and the Indian Council of Social Science Research Study Grant. He has published a number of articles in national journals and has also attended various national and international seminars. He acted as a judge for selecting Indian teams in Indian National rounds of Jessup and Stetson Moot Competitions. His teaching interests include Private International Law, Public International Law, Constitutional Law, Corporate Law and Patent Laws.
