Dr. (Ms.) K. Rama Patnaik, Deputy Librarian
Dr. K. Rama Patnaik is a gold medallist from Andhra University has done her Ph.D in “marketing and Library and Information Services and Products in India” She had been instrumental in developing the NALSAR Law Library where she brought the state of art technologies in information management and retrieval by introducing RFID based solutions to transactions, inventory, tracking and resource management she also automated all the house-keeping activities of the library. She also designed a clearinghouse on Criminal Justice and Human Rights resources in India, which was presented at the recently held International conference on Digital Libraries in New Delhi. She has written many articles and has been the course writer for Post Graduate Diploma in Library Automation and Networking offered by University of Hyderabad. She has extensively visited all libraries of national importance in India and law libraries of Cardiff and Bristol Universities in UK. She is also Joint Secretary of the adhoc committee formed to create a consortium of Law Libraries in India.
