Academic Qualifications

B.A. (Hons.) (Economics, University of Delhi), M.A. (Business Economics, University of Delhi], M.Phil (Economics, JNU).

He has worked as a Senior Economic Analyst with Resource Base Ltd., New Delhi, as a journalist in the Observed of Business and Politics and has been a visiting lecturer of Maharaja Agrasen College, DU. He was Recipient of UGC Junior Research Fellowship and Senior Research Fellowship. He has been deeply involved in cultural and literary activities throughout his academic life and was Founder President of "SAVERA" - a voluntary organization. He has presented various papers in National Seminars, notable among which is the paper on "Economics of Patents Rights and the impact of TRIPs on the Pharmaceutical Industry in India" presented at an International Seminar on Human Rights to Health, TRIPs and its Impact on Pharmaceutical Industry and in India, organized by NLIU in collaboration with the Govt. of Madhya Pradesh (Deptt. Of Health and Family Welfare) in March 2000 and is a regular contributor in National and Regional Dailies.

He is currently pursuing doctoral studies in Economics from Centre for Economic Studies and Planning, JNU.

His teaching interests include Economics, Economic Analysis of Law and Law of Regulations.
