NLIU invites applications for appointment as Associate Professor (Scale:
12000-18300/-
+ Allowances) in the following areas:
1. International Trade and Development
2. Sociology of Law/ Socio-Legal Studies
3. Law and Gender
Essential Qualifications (for all posts
mentioned above):
(a) Master’s degree in relevant discipline
with minimum of five years of teaching
experience out of which a minimum of 3 years should be
in the position of
Assistant Professor.
(b) Ph.D. in relevant subject ( may be interdisciplinary) or equivalent publication.
Preference will be given to candidates who
have 4 to 5 years of experience of teaching
especially in National Law Schools.
Desirable Qualifications:

Interest and
experience in WTO related issues (for post No.1)
§
Interest and
expertise demonstrated in the form of teaching, research, publication and
dissemination of ideas in the frontier areas of interaction between law and
society. (for post No.2)
§
Identifiable interest
and work experience in gender related issues (for post No.3)

qualification: Ph.D. Degree in Science, with five years experience in
Government organisations including an experience in
policy formulation and the candidate must not have attained the age of thirty

Eligibility
qualification: B.P. Ed or its equivalent degree. Preference will be given to
the candidate having two years experience as Physical Instructor.

10 years of experience

Eligibility
qualification: Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Science and Computer
Applications with 05 years of experience.
Higher initial start may be given to a candidate possessing exceptionally
good
qualifications and experience, though the qualification and
emolument for the posts will
be in accordance with the UGC Rules. Applications and other details may be
