PROJECTS UNDERTAKEN BY THE UNIVERSITY

Various seminars, research projects and workshops have been organized by NLIU in collaboration with national and international organizations over the years.  In keeping with the larger objective of striving for excellence in learning, dissemination of knowledge and doing research, the University has fostered and developed partnerships both at the national and international levels. The following section illustrates University’s national and international collaborations: International Research Projects Commissioned to carry out World Bank Projects on Environment Management and Capacity Building as a partner institution with National Law School of India University, Bangalore. Commissioned to carry out World Bank Project on Land Management. Commissioned to carry out DFID Project on Police Reforms. FAO, Italy, project on “Madhya Pradesh District Poverty Initiative Project Preparation Mission (Land Tenure and Administrative Component)” National Research Projects Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, Technology, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India project on Preparation of the reading materials illustrative of the requirements of   patenting International Workshop on Patent Claim Writing Series of workshop on patent claim writing “Development of Computerized Expert System in Administrative Law”, Govt. of M.P., Bhopal. NLIU’s collaboration with IIIT on “Cyber Law and Jurisprudence” NHRC project on “Water stagnation leading to death of Tribals in Balaghat”. N.U.J.S., Kolkata project on State-Wise Profile of Criminal Justice Administration. M.P. State Road Development Authority Project on Legal Consultancy Services. The university is at present involved in a research project in collaboration with United Nations Development Program (UNDP)India on ‘Examining and Strengthening Informal Justice Systems in Madhya Pradesh.
